Zoom quiz will kick off at 8 - meeting ID is 753 2151 4131 and the password is 2GsKfL

Happy Thursday peeps, seems like we have enough interest in the quiz for it to go ahead tomorrow at 8pm. You will need to bring yourself, a laptop/media device, pen and paper and a few drinks!

We will be using the online app Zoom to do the quiz. All you need to do is download the ap. It works better from a laptop as you will be able to see all participants in which case Google "Zoom" and go to the website an set up an account. If you only have a smartphone or tablet you will need to go to your Ap store and download the Ap and again set up an account. You will however only be able to see 4 participants on a tablet/phone at one time.

I will need the email address of all those wishing to participate (all occupants of the house can take part under one account, so will only need one email address) so that I can add you to the meeting. I will post information about the meeting ID and password to this page once I have them. All you then need to do is click on "Join a meeting" and enter the user ID and password, you will then be able to join the meeting once I authorise you to join.

Following the UK Government’s Announcement on Friday 20th March 2020, the Management Committee at WOODLAND ROAD SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB will understandably and respectfully but, with heavy heart, close its doors until Guidance is received that we are able to resume operating the business.

A message from the Management Committee of Woodland Road Sports & Social Club regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).

It is our duty of care to keep our members, customers and staff safe. Earlier this week UK Government announced a social distancing policy which we support, however, they did not announce closure of public bars and clubs.

WOODLAND ROAD SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB is currently open and operating as normal, but as the situation evolves we may have to implement changes. We have increased measures with hand sanitising stations and enhanced cleaning procedures.

We encourage all of you to follow the advice and guidelines from Public Health Wales and we would insist that should you be experiencing any symptoms you refrain from attending the Premises.

As stated above we reiterate that the UK Government has not told us to close. We are, however, assessing this on an hour by hour basis and will take a lead from the UK Government as to our next steps.

We thank you for adhering to the current guidance regarding social distancing.
